About Black Dzambhala
Black Dzambhala is a wealth deity in Tibetan Buddhism, traditionally invoked in prayers associated with generosity, prosperity, and support for Dharma practice.

His tradition was popularized in Tibet by Bari Lotsawa (born 1040) and the Kashmiri teacher Shakyashri Bhadra.

Traditionally regarded as a manifestation of Amoghasiddhi Buddha, Black Dzambhala is depicted in a wrathful standing posture. He holds a vessel and a jewel-spouting mongoose and wears a snake necklace. The figure beneath his feet symbolizes the subduing of ego and greed. His wealth and protective symbolism should not be understood as a guarantee of financial outcomes.
