Dehua porcelain, also known as Blanc de Chine ('White from China' in French), is a renowned white Chinese porcelain from Dehua in Fujian province. Produced since the Ming dynasty (1368–1644), it became popular in 18th-century Europe as Chinese export porcelain and was imitated at Meissen and other centers. It was also extensively exported to Japan. In 2021, the Dehua kilns were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for their historical significance in maritime trade and cultural exchange.
