Dzongsar Khyentse Medicinal Incense Powder - Dzongsar Monastery, Tibet

In the year of 1933, Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro composed “Shower of Nectar – Medicinal incense offering” during the production of nectar pill practice in Dzongsar Monastery. This incense powder is made according to this special formula, which can enhance the balance of elements in the environment and aids restoration of inner peace and happiness. 

Dzongsar Monastery belongs to Sakya lineage and was founded by Chögyal Pakpa on his return from China in 1275. Before this it had been a Nyingmapa and a Kadampa monastery which has a history of 1300 years that educating the Five Sciences of Buddhism including Tibetan Medicine.
