This incense follows the formula associated with ‘Shower of Nectar – Medicinal Incense Offering,’ composed by Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro in 1933 during nectar-pill practice at Dzongsar Monastery. It is traditionally used in offerings associated with harmony and purification.

Dzongsar Monastery belongs to the Sakya lineage. Its tradition includes the study of the Five Sciences of Buddhism, including Tibetan medicine.
