Shechen Surpo Incense Sticks — Nepal

In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, Sur incense is burned as a fragrant offering to the Buddhas, guardian deities, and beings of the six realms. It is associated with practices of generosity and pacification.

Made by Tsering Art School at Shechen Monastery, one of the six principal Nyingma monasteries. The school has a division specializing in traditionally prepared incense.
