Mindroling Traditional Tibetan Incense Powder

Mindroling Monastery has a long tradition of Tibetan incense production. Founded in 1676, it is one of the six principal Nyingma monasteries.

Prepared according to a recipe attributed to Terchen Rigzin Gyurme Dorje, the founder of Mindroling Monastery. Ingredients traditionally used in Tibetan incense include red and white sandalwood, artificial musk, Tibetan saffron, clove, agarwood, cardamom, nutmeg, Wurfbainia villosa, myrobalan, and Indian gooseberry. Its natural fragrance can accompany offerings and meditation.
